🏮 FS25 In-Game Advanced Controls
Deadzone: 0%
The G923 is a precision tool; we want zero delay. If your machinery "wanders" while driving straight, increase this to 1% or 2% to account for physical stick drift, but keep it as low as possible.
Sensitivity: 100%
This ensures that the wheel’s physical rotation matches the in-game steering wheel exactly. It’s critical for "feeling" the weight of the machinery.
Force Feedback Max Torque: 65% – 75%
Because the G923 is gear-driven, setting this too high causes mechanical "clatter" when crossing rough terrain. This range provides a strong "weight" without the noisy rattle.
🚜 The Lab "Heavy Machinery" Calibration
Force Feedback Scale: 0.8
This slightly dampens the harsh "clipping" that occurs when you hit a curb or a collision boundary, protecting the internal gears of the G923.
Spring Strength: 20%
This adds a very slight tension that helps the wheel settle, without fighting your inputs during low-speed maneuvers in the yard.
Damper Strength: 15%
This is the most important setting for the Lab. It simulates the "fluid resistance" of hydraulic steering found in modern tractors, making the wheel feel substantial rather than loose.
Dynamic Steering: Off
Dynamic steering changes your ratio based on speed. For the Lab, we want consistency. Off ensures that a 90° turn on the wheel always results in the same tire angle, regardless of your speed.
🛠️ Technical Note: TRUEFORCE Tuning
FS25 sends a lot of engine vibration data through the G923’s TRUEFORCE system. To prevent your desk from vibrating while the tractor is idling:
Set Vibration Scale in the game menu to 30%.
This retains the "thrum" of the diesel engine through the wheel rim but eliminates the aggressive mechanical noise.
